Well anglers, we've talking about it for some time now and the new boat has finally arrived. Anglers will now enjoy Lake Texoma striper fishing from our 23' 2006 Falcon Striper Deluxe. Featuring a deep V hull this boat will provide a fast smooth ride while seating up to 6 anglers.

The Falcon Striper Deluxe sports a 350 chevy inboard power plant which will get you safely to the "fishing hole" in a lightning fast 60 mph. This boat was custom built for us and we just know you will love to spend the day fishing from the boat that has been the striper boat of choice on Lake Texoma for many many years.

Fishing Gear

There is a full compliment of your choice of spinning or baitcasting gear. We keep our rods and reels updated. Our gear takes a beating so we are forever replacing the old with the new. The boat is loaded with literally 100's of the hottest striper artificial lures on the market. We are set up to match what the fish are doing with ease. We don't run a bait boat or a lure boat. We do what's working. Unless you ask for a specific type of trip we are ready to do both when we pull away from dock.

What To Bring To The Boat

Rick and Fossil Creek Guide Service will supply ice, bait, tackle, rods, and reels. Listed below are some of the items that you may want to bring yourself. Also if you have a pair of boat shoes like Topsiders or Docksiders then you should wear them. Tennis shoes or other soft soled shoes are OK too.

Bring a cooler for food and drinks. Ask your Texas fishing guide how large of a cooler you will need to carry your fish home in.	A sports bag is a good idea to bring for carrying your rain gear, hat, glasses etc and other personal items that you need on a Texas fishing trip.
Bring all your food and drinks. If you want to bring beer you should clear it with your fishing guide first.	If you will be fishing in foul or rainy weather then you may want to bring some gear to keep you dry. You may want to ask your guide if he will fish in rainy weather and how rainy.
Bring sun glasses. Preferrably polarized fishing glasses to lessen the sun's glare that reflects up off the water.	Bring a camera to take snapshots of those big fish you catch or video of the beautiful Lake Texoma waters.
A hat or ball cap is a good idea, especially for you guys that are getting a bit thin on top. Protect your head from the sun's burning rays.	If you get sea sick even on a lake or aren't sure if you get sea sick then it is a very wise idea to take your Dramamine before you leave the dock. Nothing can ruin a fishing trip worse than a guy named "RALPH".
The northern Texas region can get very hot during the summer. Make sure you bring sunscreen, especially if you burn. If you have sunburn then you can't enjoy your Lake Texoma guided fishing trip.

1. Texoma Fishing License - we won't leave the dock without proper fishing licenses. Cooler filled with your food and drinks. SUNSCREEN you will burn without it! Camera (optional) - we will do our best to take pictures but your guide stays pretty busy keeping your poles baited and in the water. Sunglasses - highly recommended.
2. Hats - only if you can hang on to them... we have sunk many caps on our trips!
3. Dress Code Dress according to the weather. It is never fun to be too cold and it is colder on the water! On the flip side you don't want to have a heat stroke in the summer. Rain gear if you don't want to get wet.. we fish rain or shine. Layers work best! We also recommend that you wear shoes that can get wet without getting ruined.
