The bite on bait remains beyond belief in very deep water. Catching fish at 60' in 75' of water. I dont remember such deep fish this aggresive. A few fish are starting to show again on the flats but deep is best. The artificial bite is still poor but you can catch plenty of small fish and a few good sandies on top in shallow water mostly around flooded brush on shallow flats. Bait for the most part is still tough. Some folks are reporting slab fish but I haven't seen it and can't make it work right now, nor can my guide group so I dont know. We have been busy to the point we are fixin to add another boat which will be run by my son. This will give us 6 more seats to go along with the 21 we are covering right now with the help of our circle of other pro guides on the lake. My wife does the pics for the week and she aint here so I'll just leave this report kind of unfinished until she gets back.
