Even in the cold weather the fishing continues to be very solid. Most of our fish are still coming from deep water on bait. It hasn't been super fast catching but steady action. Bait is easy in shallow coves and marina's and many times a throw of the net will yield both threadfin and gizzard shad. Both are producing fish for us. Limits have been routine. We also deadsticked some fish last week using flukes on small jig heads. Most fish are holding in deep water in the river and major creek channels.
